He was born on August 3, 1962 in the city of Dnepropetrovsk in the USSR. In 1979 he graduated from the Kyiv Physics and Mathematics boarding school at the Kiev State University. In 1985 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
From 1985 to 1995 he worked as an engineer-physicist in research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (in the field of applied nuclear physics, automation of physical experiments and mathematical modeling). From 1995 to the present, he has been working in Kyiv as a programmer and system administrator on a freelance basis.
Professional interests: databases, creation of Internet servers, cryptography. Programming languages: assembler, Fortran, Delphi, C, PHP, SQL. Operating systems: Windows and Linux.
